Dreamcatcher, previously known as MINX, is a Korean pop-metal group under Dreamcatcher Company. The group's seven members, JiU, SuA, Siyeon, Handong, Yoohyeon, Dami and Gahyeon, debuted on January 13, 2017 with the single album titled Nightmare and its title track, "Chase Me".

History[]

On September 15, 2014, Happyface Entertainment announced the debut of a new girl group, titled MINX. Before this Happyface had teased the debut of MINX at Oak Valley Summertime Festival just a month earlier, where they performed original songs that would end up being official tracks of the group.

After a year long hiatus Happyface Entertainment announced that MINX would re-debut with a new concept and under the title Dreamcatcher. Two new members were added to the group with the debut, that being Handong and Gahyeon, making the group seven members instead of five.

On January 13, 2017, Dreamcatcher officially debuted with their first single album "Nightmare" and its title track "Chase Me". With the single album's release, the group kicked off their Nightmare Series.

On February 18, Dreamcatcher's first full-length Korean album, Dystopia - The Tree of Language, was released. With the album's release, the group announced their new Dystopia storyline and the new triology of Dreamcatcher.
